PAUSE takes you on a visual journey with the skaters author Chris Middlebrook shared time with from 1990 to 2025, through photographic and video formats including 35mm, Polaroid, Super 8, 8MM, HI8, Mini DV & HD Video.
Chris Middlebrook has been documenting skateboarders and skateboarding for the past 35 years. He started skateboarding and shooting photos and video in his hometown of Frankston and never stopped.
He has filmed in Melbourne for Blank Clothing and went on to work for Nike SB & Alien Workshop, shoot video clips for Eddy Current Suppression Ring, coached Australian Olympic Skateboarders and started brand April Skateboards.
